RESOLUTION IN HONOR OF
LAURA M. HEWITT
FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE TO THE
WINTHROP UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS

WHEREAS, the Winthrop University Foundation, with grateful appreciation, does hereby acknowledge, commend and honor the seventeen years of distinguished service of Laura M. Hewitt as a member of the Winthrop University Foundation Board of Directors; and

WHEREAS, her participation on the Board as a member of the Development and Operations Committees will long be evident in the achievements of the Foundation; and

WHEREAS, she has demonstrated her commitment to Winthrop University and its tradition of outstanding service by giving freely of her time and talents;

THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Winthrop University Foundation does hereby gratefully acknowledge the tireless dedication, vigorous advocacy and steadfast determination that Laura M. Hewitt has demonstrated on behalf of higher education in general and Winthrop in particular;
